of 1,218 children with autism had tried to leave a safe place at least once after age four. Anderson et al., Pediatrics, 2012.
Why it matters
Many autistic children wander at some point.
A tracker won’t keep a child from leaving. It tells you when they leave and shows you where they are, so you know where to start looking.
How it works
Your child wears the device and you use the app on your phone. The device has its own cellular connection, so it doesn’t need to be near your phone. The battery lasts up to 4 days, and most families charge it about twice a week.
Step 1: Your child wears it
Clip it to a waistband, a backpack strap or a pocket, or hang it on the lanyard. Both come in the box. Use whichever your child will keep on.
Step 2: You mark your places
In the app, draw an area around home, school or a grandparent's house. You can also mark places they should stay away from, like a pond or a busy road.
Step 3: Your phone tells you if they leave
When they leave one of your areas, you get an alert. Open the app to see where they are. The location updates as often as every 20 seconds.
What you see in the app

Live location
Where they are right now
The app shows your child's location on a map, their battery level, and whether they're inside one of your areas. It works anywhere in the US and Canada with cell coverage.
- Location updates as often as every 20 seconds
- Location history
- Battery level

Safe zone alerts
An alert when they leave an area
You choose the areas. The app tells you when your child arrives and when they leave, so you don't have to keep checking the map.
- Arriving and leaving alerts
- Home, school, a relative's house or anywhere else

Finding them
If you can't find them
The app gives you directions to where they are. You can share their location with family, and make the device sound an alarm so you can find it when you're close.
- Directions to them
- Share their location with family
- A remote alarm on the device

Its own cellular connection
It works anywhere with cell coverage in the US and Canada. It doesn't need WiFi or a phone nearby.
Up to 4 days on a charge
In smart mode. Most families charge it about twice a week.
IP65 water resistant
Rain, splashes and sweat are fine. Take it off for swimming and baths.
Microphone permanently disabled
It's switched off in the firmware, so it can't listen or record. That's why schools can allow it.
Remote alarm
Make the device sound from the app when you're nearby and can't see it.

Why we built it
I got lost in a park when I was seven.
It was ten at night. A stranger found me and walked me around until we found my dad. Years later I thought about that hour from his side, and realized it only ended well because someone happened to walk past.
So I spent six months talking with more than 100 families of children who wander, and built what they asked for: real GPS a child can wear all day, alerts the moment they leave a safe place, and a price a family can keep paying.
